Paramaguru Swamigal (18th century) was a Srilankan Saint and a great siddha purusha. He was born in Srilanka in a pious family, and his father was worked as a gardener in a rich landlord’s house. He was an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva.
He was interested in deep spirituality, and used to sit alone in the Shiva temples, and had done severe meditation. He was also called as Niranjananandar. He used to visit India and got spiritual knowledge under Kadai Swamigal. He solved the problems of his devotees, and removed their sins and illness, and made them to become pure.
He was a kind hearted and a noble saint, who was born in this world to do goodness to the people. He also conducted discourses on Nayanmar saints, and explained their life history in a simple manner among the people. He insisted the people to apply the sacred ash in their body in order to ward off their sins.
He attained Mahasamadhi in the year 1904 in Srilanka.
Let us worship the great saint and be blessed.
