INTRODUCTION
Sri Reddiapatti Swamigal(1856-1923) was born in a village in Tamil Nadu, who lived a saintly life, and implicated certain teachings for the well-being of the people in this Kali Yuga. He was an ardent devotee of Lord Vinayaka. His teachings are simple and straight forward in nature, and focuses on spirituality, good behaviour, obedience and honesty. The collection of his teachings, are known as Divine Law.
During his period, he showered his kindness to everyone and treated all of his devotees in a proper manner. His main objective is to raise the living standard of the people, to remove their sufferings and diseases and to show them the spiritual path and to make them to attain SALVATION after their death. He also insists his devotees to keep their mind and body clean and pure and to chant the mantras of the god in order to gain good results in their life. He dedicated his entire life in order to make the people to prosper in their life.
A temple was founded for Sri Reddiapatti Swamigal by his devotees, and it is situated in No.6, Ranganathan Street, T.Nagar, Chennai – 600 017. Kumbhabhishekam was performed in this temple during the year 2013. Still now lot of devotees are visiting and worshipping the holy shrine and getting the desired results in their life.
