And As per our Holy Skanda Purana, Lord Muruga is expected to come soon to the world by taking the form of a Warrior Saint, similar to Lord Parasurama! In the Skanda Purana, Lord Muruga says to Veerabahu, “Oh my Dear Veerabahu, during the Kali Yuga, there would be lot of drastic changes in the world. People would never respect Dharma and they would follow the path of evil! Even the so-called spiritually motivated people might turn into bad people, due to the evil influence of Kali Purusha! Hence, it is my duty to correct them and to bring them again to the spiritual path, since I dwell even on the souls of the wicked ones”, and as per the Skanda Purana, the entire universe was found on the two eyes of Lord Muruga!

Sri Shiva Bala Siddhar was the main person towards the formation of the Mailam Murugan Temple, which is situated in Villupuram District. Bala Siddhar in his previous birth was served as one of the Chief Divine Guard of Lord Shiva’s holy abode, the Kailasa. Kirupanandha Variyar(1906-1993) was a Great Spiritual Saint from Tamil Nadu, India. Variyar Swamigal, was born in Kangeyanallur in Vellore City in the state of Tamil Nadu.
He was a staunch Murugan devotee, who renovated several Hindu temples across Tamil Nadu. He is very famous for giving hindu puranic discourses.
He helped in spreading Hinduism, and cultivated bhakti among the people by his speech, and was fully involved in his motive. He is considered as the main person towards spreading the Kaumaram cult of Lord Murugan.

Oh My Dear Muruga, even during the time of sleep, your face doesn’t appear dull, but it looks brighter similar to the full moon. Even if you touch the ordinary water on your tender hands, very soon, it becomes the divine nectar. The sound of the breath which you release from your nose is like hearing the Gandharva Gana, and even if you drink the poison, it would not harm you, since you are the Lord of the entire universe.
My Murugan would do Leelas, my Murugan would do so many miracles, My Murugan is also affectionately called by me as Balamurugan, and he is my precious child. He would dwell on the lap of his mother Ma Shakti Devi, and he used to show all the divine worlds on his two eyes.
My Child Muruga is the one, who has created the 14 worlds, and he is able to lift all the worlds on his little arms, I don’t know what kind of meditation we have all done in our previous births in order to have our lovely child Muruga as our most benevolent worshipful god?

Similar to the pictures of Laughing Buddha and Laughing Krishna, we can see the pictures of Smiling Muruga, and in most of the pictures of Lord Muruga, he can be seen depicted only in smiling form! I feel that my Child Muruga picture sometimes used to blink his eyes mischievously, whenever I question him about this difficult period of Kaliyuga!
But, we can certainly forget our worries by seeing the divine face of Lord Muruga. For seeing his face, we need not visit his temples or we need not refer to spiritual books, whereas, we can see his face, from the pictures available even in our purses. Once we watch the picture of child Muruga, we should immediately fix his image on our soul permanently, and we should never erase it. Child Muruga is the one, who would give great relief from our sufferings and would provide happiness and peace of mind.
Child form of Lord Muruga had rendered his blessings to his innumerable devotees and also had given salvation to them. Still parents used to decorate their child similar to child Muruga during the times of functions held at the schools. Sometimes due to tensions and health related problems, even some staunch devotees of Muruga would scold at him, and also would try to forget about him. But it is not possible to do like that, since his smiling face would be permanently stored on their brain.
In this difficult Kaliyuga, for each and every minute we are subjected to some types of problems, and sometimes we are unable to find the ways to get rid from those problems. Sometimes even if we pray to the almighty, he may not give his immediate help. During that time, we must realise that only because of our bad karmas we are facing those challenges, and at that time, we should calmly handle the situation, and must seek the help of the god to give great withstanding powers to us to face any type of challenges and difficulties. Then God would appear before us in the form of child Muruga, and with his wonderful smile, he would make us to forget about our worries. Sometimes, even some staunch devotees of Muruga are getting converted into other religions. An ancient Cinema actor who has acted as a staunch devotee of Lord Muruga in several films, had been converted into other religion, but we cannot comment about his personal affairs, since it all depends on the faith of the people which they keep it on different, different gods, and I also consider Infant Jesus as a form of Child Muruga only!
According to the words of the great saints, God is not creating us to give troubles and sorrows. It is because of our own karmic deeds, we are facing lot of hardships in our lives. In Bhagavat Gita, Lord Krishna says, “Never think about anything in your life, about your happiness or sorrows, think only about me, even during the times of happiness and difficulties, then I would stay permanently in your soul, and would make you to consider both the good and the bad as alike”.
