INTRODUCTION
Similar to going to Tirtha Yatra to holy places like Kasi and Rameswaram, we can also visit the various Brindavanams of Guru Raghavendra, which is situated throughout India, and even in some foreign countries, we can find few Worship Centres of Guru Raghavendra Swamy. Those who are unable to visit Kasi and Rameswaram in order to clear off their Pitru Dosham, could visit any of the Guru Raghavendra Swamy’s Brindavanams located nearby their residence, and by sincerely praying and chanting the Mantras of Guru Raghavendra Swamy, they can easily clear off their ancestral debts.
Most of the Brindavanams of Rayaru are situated in calm and good scenic place, which provides good mental satisfaction to the visitors, and by visiting Guru Raghavendra Swamy’s Brindavanams frequently, we would get the blessings of both our Guru as well as our beloved Lord Vishnu. Once when a devotee of Guru Raghavendra tried to visit Kasi and Rameswaram, Guru Raghavendra had appeared on his dream, and redirected him to visit his Mantralayam Brindavanam, and through this incident, we could knew that visiting our Holy Mantralayam Mutt is equivalent to visiting Kasi and Rameswaram. Those who are interested to visit the temples of the deities, and those who have sufficient money to spend on their travels, can make a perfect plan, to visit Guru Raghavendra’s Brindavanam at Mantralayam, by staying there at least for a week, and apart from that holy place, they could also spend few more days in visiting Brindavanams located at other places also!
Most of the people think that Thirtha Yatra means visiting the Holy Temples of the deities located only in North, East and Western parts of India. But they should think that there are lots and lots of Holy Temples located in South India also, like Ayyappan Temple in Kerala, Tirumala Temple in Andhra Pradesh, Horanadu Annapoorneswari Temple in Karnataka and Arunachaleswara Temple in Tamil Nadu. Our holy Guru itself had visited several shrines of the deities which is located across India, during his lifetime, and hence, instead of searching for new, new temples in the Internet, let us visit the one and only sacred place Mantralayam, which is considered to be the divine abode of Guru Raghavendra, and next to Tirumala, it is also considered as the most revered shrine by the Devotees of Guru Raghavendra. As per a famous Kannada Song, “Once, when we recite the name of the Holy Place, Tirumala, immediately we would remember about Lord Venkateswara, if we recite the name of the Holy Place, Kasi, we would remember about Lord Shiva, likewise, whenever we recite the name of the holy place Mantralayam, immediately the name of Guru Raghavendra would struck into our mind”.
Hence, let us keep visiting more and more Brindavanams of Guru Raghavendra, in order to get the grace of Lord Hari as well as our most affectionate and humble Guru Sri Raghavendra Swamy.
