THE FO GUANG Shan Chu Un Temple is one of 300 temples of Fo Guang Shan (FGS) Buddhist Temple, which celebrates 50 years of spreading the Dharma from its headquarters in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Aside from its temples, FGS has about 1,300 monastics and thousands of members known as Buddha’s Light International (BLIA), making it one of biggest and most established Mahayana Buddhist sect in the world to date.
