VIDHYADHANAM
INTRODUCTION
Vidya Dhanam means gifting of education to the children. Those who are unable to bear the huge expenses of their studies would seek the help of the generous and kind hearted philanthropists. Most of the schools and colleges are granting scholarship to the brilliant students and for the poor children. The TTD is granting scholarships to meritorious students. Several other social welfare organisations are also giving their helping hand towards educating the poor and the clever students.
Several orphanages in India are giving free education to their children, and they are also helping them to pursue higher studies like MBBS, B.E. etc. Donating money towards educating the students would increase our memory power, and our brain would work properly. The great Pachiappa Vallal has donated large sum of money for educating the children, and in his name, Pachiappas College is functioning.
Some students would shine brightly in their career, whereas some would be dull students. In order to bring success in their life, students must worship Mata Saraswathi Devi, the goddess of education, and they can also worship Lord Hayagreeva, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and the Guru of Mata Saraswathi Devi. Many film personalities and politicians are helping the poor students by educating them properly.
Without proper education, it is very difficult to find a suitable job and to settle in our life. Only if we study hard, we would be able to score well in our examinations. Some people might have shined well in their life even without possessing basic educational qualification. But it does not apply to all classes of people. If and only we are well educated, we can easily settle in our life, can get married, and can give a good future to our children.
The great Deva Rishi Narada, had learnt all the divine subjects from his father and mother, Brahma and Saraswathi, and he shared his knowledge with others also. The great Vishnu devotee Bhakta Prahalada was properly guided by Narada, even when he was in the womb of his mother Kayadu. Most of the saints are well educated, and some of them, would have educated through their spiritual powers, even without learning it from the book.
Hence let us sincerely worship Lord Brahma and Saraswathi for getting a good education and be blessed.
