This is a prayer to the Fire God Agni – Fire of Durga mentioned in the Maha Narayana Upanishad. It helps in removing materialistic problems which a normal human mind can not resolve. To that jataveda (one from whom the Vedas are born) we pray to Soma and invoke Her ardently which can free us from the bondage of the world.
