An eye camp was organised by the Hindu Council of Kenya, Kisumu branch at Uzima University in Kisumu. More than 1000 people were screened and 100 people were identified with cataract requiring surgery. The council collected more than 2 m for the treatment. Sabatia Hospital will conduct out the operations on those requiring cataract surgery.
