INTRODUCTION
Most of us would be uttering the words, Muruga, Muruga, mostly in times of difficulties or disinterest in our work, or when we doesn’t want to invite a stranger or even a friend or relative to our office or at our home. Some people would be frequently using the word Muruga, even without knowing about its significance.
Telling the names of deities like Lord Muruga, whether knowingly or unknowingly, would bring best prospects in our life. Instead of reciting derogatory words like stupid, idiot and fool, we could recite the precious divine word Muruga! Some youngsters are of the opinion, that one should recite the divine name Muruga, only during their old age! But no one knows that whether they would lead their life up to their old age. We cannot stop our death, as per our wishes, since death cannot be avoided at any point of time in our life! Even some teachers would be using the word Muruga, whenever they find any difficulty in teaching the dull or doll like students in the schools. Instead of expressing our angriness over others, we can use the word, Muruga, to get some mental easiness, as well as we can be able to properly react with others. Muruga is the son of Lord Shiva, and in fact, he his Lord Shiva himself! We can study a lot from Lord Muruga, like gentleness, bravery, patience, sympathy, kindness and generosity etc.
Some people used to recite the word “OM NAMAHA SHIVAYA”, and they would ignore reciting the name of Lord Muruga, by considering him only to be the son of Lord Shiva. But they should knew, that both of them are one and the same, and they should never be distinguished from each other! Lord Mururga had showed his braveness in front of the Demons like Surapadman, Singamugasuran and Singamuki, and he also had got married with Mata Valli and Mata Devasena after proving his spiritual powers. After living a noble life in the Holy Kailasha for many years, finally he moved to the beautiful Skanda Loka.
Hence, let us start developing the practice of reciting the word, Muruga, Muruga, regularly in our life, and let us be blessed.
