Introduction
Institute of Scientific Research on Vedas (I-SERVE) is a scientific research institute dedicated to exploring the technical details of Vedic sciences from ancient Indian literature. I-SERVE is a joint initiative of a group of scholars and scientists with higher expertise in ancient and modern sciences. The Institute is recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO), and this stature is authorized by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The Institute focuses on taking alternative science to the next level for providing the Mother Earth with a Non-Hazardous and a Non-pollution environment. The research work, which I-SERVE is actively involved in, aims to benefit the whole mankind without any barricades of caste or creed, race or gender.
Modern-day Science Vs. Vedic Sciences
The modern-day science has led to valuable scientific and technological advancements. However, it has seriously failed in controlling the environmental degradation and hence, the need for an alternative science is seriously felt to resolve all the looming ecological threats.
Besides religion, philosophy, legends and poetries; Vedic Literature is equally rich in scientific content. For various historical reasons, scientific aspects of Vedic Literature in addition to a rich treasure of Sanskrit text books, which belong to the ancient Vedic periods, have been neglected time and again. This resulted in a breakage of tradition of the Vedic Sciences studies and their technical knowhow.
However, the current ecological concerns have spread awareness amongst global experts about the scientific concepts mentioned in the Vedic Literature. Though not many books are on hand for the modern thinkers, one can infer from that literature that science and technology formulated by the ancient scientists were completely pollution-free, non-hazardous and eco-friendly.
About Alternative Science
Today, research in alternative medicine is as important as research in alternative science. A substitute to modern science is developing as a vast subject and eminent scientists and research organizations are involved exploring its different facets.
Vedic sciences and Vedic technologies are pure remedy to all the impending health and environmental threats faced by the mankind in the 21stcentury. Vedic sciences are extremely nature friendly. Institute of Scientific Research on Vedas (I-SERVE) was founded in the year 2004 to work on the technical details of Vedic Sciences and to serve humanity at large. The establishment of I-SERVE would not have been possible without the command and blessings of His Holiness Sri Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji.
Various important Research and Development projects conducted at the Institute on alternative sciences are on Ayurveda, Vedic Astronomy, Vedic Geology and Environment, Ancient Mathematics, New Computer Logic, Ancient Scientific Text Books, Science of Animals, Vedas and Puranas and Atharva Veda.
