PREMA PANDURANG
INTRODUCTION
Prema Pandurang hails from a Hindu family in Tamil Nadu. She served as a Professor in Presidency College in Chennai for many years.
She is the founder of charitable trusts, and she is a divine discourser, and performed divine lectures from Hindu Holy texts like Puranas, Bhagavat Gita and Bhagavatham. She is an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna, and used to deliver divine lectures by telling stories from the Puranas, and explain it in a simple and easily understandable manner.
Prema Pandurang founded the Kshetropasna Trust situated near Sriperumbudur, for the purpose of spreading our Indian culture in India & Abroad. Through this trust, temples for Lord Guruvayoorappa, Lord Ganesha and Devi Mookambika were built, and a school was founded mainly for educating the poor children.
An old age home is also founded and free food and shelter is offered to the destitute and homeless old aged people. Apart from that, Prema Pandurang is having plans to do more social welfare services to the poor and the down trodden people. Through this trust, lot of people were benefitted and still people are getting benefitted day by day.
She also wrote lot of spiritual articles, and her articles were published in journals. She had visited many famous Hindu temples, and worshipped the deities.
